Preparing for the Advanced Tests via a Skill for Life Programme

The IAM’s Skill for Life programmes enable car drivers, and motorcycle riders to develop the skills and confidence required to pass the DSA-accredited Advanced Test under the guidance of volunteer observers from over 200 local IAM Groups across the UK. On passing the Advanced Test, participants are invited to become Members of the IAM.

It couldn’t be more flexible.

For a start, test preparation can take place during working hours, or in the participant’s own time – providing operational and personal flexibility. Participants learn at their own speed, taking all the time they need to perfect their advanced driving and motorcycling skills.

And it’s good for ALL your staff – and families and friends, too.

The opportunity to prepare for and pass the IAM’s Advanced Tests can be offered to all staff members – and their families and friends. All they need is a current licence.

IAM Advanced Tests can also be used as a flexible and highly cost-effective training tool for company drivers.
