Put quite simply, we offer the opportunity for commercial vehicle* drivers to improve their driving standards, helping to make them safer on the roads. But that’s not all. We are committed to helping make you a better driver. The dark blue IAM member badge denotes a commercial vehicle member. Underpinning this is the IAM's famous Advanced Driving Test for which we are perhaps best known, but we also offer other driving services such as Special Assessment, or DriveCheck55.

Thousands of drivers take our advanced driver programme (Skill for Life) every year. All car-derived vans, light vans, motor homes and pick-up trucks, including the more obvious vehicles in the large goods vehicle and articulated category. All passenger carrying vehicles, minibuses, coaches, and we also cater for advanced towing needs.

- MOT and Insurance certificate

- Driving Licence and Counterpart

- A Road Legal vehicle and Trailer where applicable
