Whether you are new to cycling or a frequent rider looking for those essential hints and tips, a training session will be of real benefit to you.
Generally there are 3 available levels of training. They are known as Bikeability 1, 2 and 3, (The National Standards for Cycle Training). This allows for greater flexibility, meaning you can pick and choose which level is most appropriate for you.
Bikeability is the national 'cycling proficiency' for the 21st century, designed to give the cyclists on modern roads the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today's roads. To find out more about the three different levels of training available click here.
If you are interested in taking cycle training then it is a good idea to start with your local authority. Local authorities are often very active in promoting cycle safety and many have schemes running within the council itself.
