IAM Fleet Training Ireland Ltd is a subsidiary of IAM Fleet Training Ltd, the commercial training division of Institute of Advanced Motorists, a registered charity, and a leader in the field of corporate driver training and fleet risk management.

IAM Fleet Training first began training in Ireland in 1996 and opened the office in Kilkenny in September 2002.

We have worked with companies of all sizes and all commercial sectors, demonstrating that a proper training programme not only reduces accident risk, but also saves money on fleet costs, such as fuel, tyres, insurance and maintenance.

IAM Fleet has a nationwide network of the most experienced advanced driver trainers, ensuring a top quality and consistent level of driver training.

IAM Fleet will work in partnership with you to develop your company's safety culture and compliment existing Health & Safety Policies by reducing your occupational road risk.

Our association with the Institute of Advanced Motorists ensures that any profit is reinvested in road safety.

Trainers

IAM Fleet manages a network of in excess of 70 highly qualified trainers who can be deployed anywhere throughout Ireland.

Our minimum acceptance criteria is that our trainers are Registered Driving Instructors who undergo a stringent recruitment process prior to selection. The interview itself covers presentation, instruction/coaching & personal driving skills.

For Occupational Driver Training they must hold an advanced driver qualification for the category of vehicle they are going to provide training in.

In addition to receiving comprehensive product training and continuous professional development, all trainers are assessed regularly to ensure that high quality training is delivered to all our costomers.

IAM Fleet has the infrastructure to deliver on road training and refresher training at any location throughout Ireland.

Management Information Systems

IAM Fleet in association with a major software manufacturer has developed an innovative and unique computer system that will evaluate, monitor and report on the performance of your drivers and administrate the booking process.
This creates a management tool by which performance can be measured and steps taken to focus training in the most effective manner.
