IAM Chief Executive - Simon Best

Simon Best is the Chief Executive at the IAM.

Simon, 44, joined the IAM from GE Capital Solutions where he was responsible for the BT business partnership, thought to be the largest partner programme of its type in Europe.

An accountant by profession, Simon was previously the sales director at Liberata and before that spent ten years at Lex Vehicle Leasing, where he eventually became Corporate Sales Director.

Simon’s role at the IAM will focus on the membership growth in order to tie in with the IAM’s strategic objectives. He will take day to day responsibility for Finance, IT, Procurement and Facilities, HR and sales functions within the core IAM.

A keen runner and cyclist, Simon enjoys driving and is a former Lotus Elise owner. He also enjoys riding his Triumph motorbike now he has passed his IAM bike test.

A family man with two children, he lives in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Simon has been an IAM member since 1995.
