New Advanced Driving Book feedback

All delegates who attended the IAM National Conference at Dunstall Park, Wolverhampton on 6th October were issued with a copy of the new updated IAM manual "How to be a better driver - Advanced Driving, the essential guide"

The form below requests your comments., bearing in mind the information listed here. If you have more than one comment on different Chapters, please send separate emails.

Please remember that the book is not being sold to you as established members but to the general public interested in Advanced Driving.

It has a different style of writing

It is in a specific order, from getting into the car, to driving

It can be used by the examiner as a guide to the order and content of the test

It isn't meant as a replacement for Roadcraft, which is in greater depth. It is meant to get an associate to the test.

Consider it's use as lesson plans for observers and fleet trainers

Is it relevant to the reader based on the anticipated knowledge level?

Does it relate to the younger driver?

As an introduction to advanced driving will it encourage people to take it further?

Is it a 'feel good' read?
