How can the Group help me?
The Group caters for car and light commercial drivers from Corby and surrounding areas including Kettering, Thrapston, Oundle Stamford, Uppingham, Oakham and Market Harborough.
How does the Group Operate?
The Group runs short courses for Associates. These are held in the Spring and Autumn. The courses are held on Sunday mornings at Corby Conservative Club, Cottingham Road, Corby. Details and a registration form for the next course can be obtained by contacting the person below.
On completion of the course, support and guidance is given on an individual level until the candidate is ready for test.
Free assessment drives are offered through the local press on a regular basis to drivers holding a current driving licence for the vehicle being driven. These drives are undertaken in the driver's own vehicle, therefore the vehicle must be roadworthy and have a current Road Tax and MOT (if applicable). The vehicle must have a minimum of third party insurance.
The Group at present can lay claim to a 90% pass rate and a drop-out rate less than 5% from its courses.
