How can the Group help me?
Walsall Group of Advanced Motorists meets at Aldridge Community Centre at 09.30 a.m. on the first Sunday of every month. Refreshments are always available and everyone is most welcome to join us and find out more about us and what we can do for them.
Our group is made up from members living in the Walsall area and neighbouring areas.
We currently run two courses every year, in March and September, for those interested in a “Skill for Life”, but we welcome people joining at any time of the year.
Each associate has their own observer to guide them through the development of skills enabling them to take the Advanced Driving Test. On the first Sunday of each month associates go out with a check observer to make sure they are happy and making progress. On reaching Test Standard the associate is checked on the road by the examiner attached to our group and has an excellent chance of passing..
You may join us to do “Skill for Life” or for a “Drive Check”. We find that taking part in “Drive Check” is very useful in so many ways. For example for older drivers it can give confidence back. We also find many “Drive Check” candidates change to “Skill for Life” and become Advanced Drivers.
