Research

The IAM invests in research on road safety with a strong focus on road user behaviour. We aim to inform the public, road safety professionals and the government about key road safety issues. Our research is used to make recommendations to government and to try and raise the awareness of the public and relevant organisations.

We also do topical research reports on areas like government expenditure and investment in road safety education.

We are currently commissioning research on older driver's behaviour, a survey of the public's opinions on safety cameras and research on the safety of company car drivers.
