AA Foundation for Road Safety Research Reports

The AA Foundation was founded in 1986 to carry out or procure research into all factors affecting the safe use of public roads. It published 32 reports between 1986 and 2002.

On 1 April 2005, The AA Foundation transferred all its research and reports (including reports still to be published but excluding research by EuroRAP) to The AA Motoring Trust. At the same time, it changed its name to the Foundation for Road Safety Research*; it continues as a grant-funder to the European Road Assessment Programme.

Research briefings for the Foundation's reports are listed below. Some briefings also include a PDF of the summary report.
