Living with the van is a project carried out by the AA Motoring Trust with the support of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. It has produced a research report and a range of leaflets for van drivers and their managers
The research looked at how vans are used in Britain, how they are key to developments such as internet shopping and what is being done to ensure that they are driven safely. It also looked at how van drivers regard their jobs and contrasts their views with the often contradictory opinions of their managers.
The information in the research also provided the background for advice leaflets – for both those who drive vans and for those who manage them.
