Get more from your driving

So you have been driving for quite a while now and youd probably rather forget just how long its been since you passed your test!

You have done OK, your drivings not bad - but maybe, just maybe, its time to get a helpful and informed refresher.

With busier, more congested roads, hectic pressured lifestyles and the unfortunate presence of uninsured drivers - it may just pay to hone your driving techniques and improve your confidence and awareness of other road users and that's just what our DriveCheck55 assessment is for.

No tests, no published results, just a relaxed one-to-one session with a qualified IAM examiner. The DriveCheck55 assessment has been developed to help remind you of some good driving procedures, identify a few bad habits and give you a reassured feeling of confidence on our increasingly busy roads.

The IAM has been helping make people more skilled, more confident and safer on the road for over 50 years and we can do the same for you.

DriveCheck55 is a 60 minute drive with an IAM qualified examiner in your own car at a time to suit you. On completion you will be given a comprehensive driving report.

Important: Drivecheck55 is designed to help improve driving skills. It is not suitable to determine if an older driver is still fit to hold a driving licence.

"I had an hour's assessment drive today with a most tactful and helpful examiner, and received a clean bill of driving health. He helped me with one fault I knew I had and another I didn't know about. Simple sensible steps which I am determined to implement. I will repeat the exercise in five years unless there is a reason to do it before."

Brian Robinson, Sittingbourne, Kent.
