Fast Track is the fastest way to become an advanced driver. You benefit from one-to-one professional training in preparation for the IAM Advanced Driving Test, and then go on to take the test and gain full IAM membership.BookitButton

Its very flexible. The training can take place where it is mutually most convenient for you and the trainer, even at weekends** or from the your work place.

It is designed for individuals who do not have the time to commit to the "normal" route to achieve the IAM Advanced Driving Test of observed runs via local IAM Groups.

  • Advanced Driver Training from an IAM Drive & Survive Professional Driving Trainer
  • Two separate one-to-one half day sessions, in order to give some time for practice in-between lessons
  • Access to the IAM online E Learning Programme
  • A copy of the IAM Advanced Driving Manual 'How to be a Better Driver'
  • Entry into the IAM Advanced Test
  • The first years subscription as an Associate of the IAM (upgraded to Full Membership if the test is passed within 12-months).

Your manual and E Learner password will be mailed to you a few days after you purchase Fast Track. Your instructor will then call you to arrange a convenient time for your first drive.

IAM Fast Track costs from just £249 and we have trainers across the country so finding one local to you will not be a problem.

Please note that Fast Track is currently only available for car drivers. We hope to be able to provide a motorcycle fast track service in the future.

** Please note: Weekend sessions cost an additonal 25 per half day to cover trainer overtime costs.
